Theatromathia |
'Theatromathia' is a non Profit Theatre Company, based in Athens Greece and founded in January 2001. It produces imaginative performances for all ages, conducts seminars and lectures, produces Audio theatre CD's and many more. One of the main goals is the development of drama/theatre in education. We promote theatre as an educational tool by conducting seminars, workshops and lectures assisting educators "acquiring" knowledge about theatrical aspects and the use of theatre in teaching young and adults (dramatization, acting, improvisation, dramatic activities, etc). In our Children's Stage we produce (and tour), educational plays that are based on curriculum. In our main stage we produce inovative plays for adults. Simultaneously by developing our website, we introduce the idea of Educational Drama to new people everyday and promote the dialogue and exchange of ideas on the use of theatre/drama. |
